Size guide

Most KIVAT headwear is made of stretch knit. Thus, the headwear is more elastic according to the size of the head, and giving accurate size in centimeters is challenging. Our own non-centimeter KIVAT sizes are used for KIVAT headwear. Size labelling is not indicative of age.

The following table defines age recommendations corresponding to KIVAT sizes 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Please note that there are slight differences in the age recommendations for different product groups. To help you determine the correct size, we have provided an indicative centimeter size for each product.

The purpose of headwear and accessories is to protect the child in just the right size for maximum functionality and fit. Headwear that is too large can move too much on the child's head, causing the hat to cover the eyes or move to the side, leaving the other ear exposed. Do not buy room for growth.

KIVAT clothing sizes are in centimeter sizes for every 10 cm (60 cm, 70 cm, 80 cm, etc.).
